when my love died

And one eventide
she finally died
As she confessed her love
afore, & I denied.
I make her to be garbed
in attire so white
& made her hair the way;
she desired being a bride
I placed a ring mumbling
you're mine.

I moved onward to close the box
& to leave her in so dark
churchyard
That moment I felt my psyche
wrenching
& realised how I lost my scarce thing
Placing her body into the grave,

I shrieked I cried
noxious orchids , unconscious me
memories of her in my mind
Haunting me, Asking me
Why ? Am I very late
Slumber with that smile
sweetheart! take rest .
